KuroPit Vs. DarkPit

And thus, the differences of Kuro Pit and Dark Pit come to life...

So yeah, in brief, Kuro Pit managed to break away from the Underworld and away from Medusa, the goddess of darkness. He is able to rejoin his brother, Pit and now serves Palutena, the goddess of Light. Pit is absolutely overjoyed while Palutena looks on smiling. She knows she made the right decision to help Kuro and give strength to Pit.

But, Medusa...shocked, feels betrayed. So, she decides to create another fallen angel in Kuro's image. His name is Dark Pit. He is made from a little cloud of darkness and shadows and from Pit's sins. She can keep up her charade all she wants, but she prefers Kuro Pit over Dark. And Dark...in his jealousy utterly hates and despises both angels. He's determined to be the "better" one, so that maybe...Medusa will really look at him and not think of him as another "Kuro"...

Story I made up, yeah. Other differences include the fact that Kuro is the uke in a relationship, he appears to be attracted to Ike, fairly shy, dislikes when people bring up his short height, likes sweets, has a lighter shade of skin than Pit (it's not like he'll get a tan in the Underworld!), I think his hair is and SHOULD be a couple shades darker than Pit, pretty dark blue eyes, and likes stuffed animals.

Dark Pit is...more of a rapist than a seme in a "relationship" considering he doesn't know what love is (Medusa doesn't show him any), experienced LUST at first sight with Ike and Roy, not shy at all, is a little taller than Kuro and happy with that, prefers blood (little vampire), darker skin than Pit (so tan, he's practically orange AAAGH), lighter hair color than Pit, ghostly dark red eyes, and likes to tear stuffed animals up.

I modeled Dark Pit pretty much after Dark Link. Darker skin color and lighter hair color than the heroes. Of course, I think the grey-black skin of Dark Link makes him look like a zombie, so I'd rather just give them a tan. Dark Link's hair is pretty much white, but I figure a light brown shade would work better for Dark Pit.

"Kuro" means black. Black does not necessarily mean "evil". "Dark" is...well, dark. Because it is human nature to be afraid of the dark, it is often used to symbolize "evil". Dark Pit isn't evil, though. He's just seriously...seriously twisted...

Okay, now I rant about the art... Palutena looked so much better in pencil, man! I don't have a lot of reference pictures of her, so I made up her headpiece and completely refused to add further detail to the skirt part of her dress. I had no fun drawing Pit and Kuro because I never draw them, but I guess they came out fine. ARGH, the background was supposed to be a soft glow and not a striking gradation, but it's neither so I'm somewhat happy.

Dark Pit came out nicely, though. I hate the cheesy blood spatter... I hope he came out sexy; that's what I was going for since Kuro Pit is supposed to be cute. More contrast. I don't know if I did Kuro Pit's outfit colors right, but I don't care. I AM NOT GOING TO RECOLOR THAT. Dark Pit's background was so lame; I wish I was more skilled with that spraypaint tool thing in MS Paint....

The creepy smiling face next to the blood spatter above Dark is supposed to be Medusa. "Kill for me, Dark. Kill for me!" But the face came out to look more like a clown playing with it's toy, which kind of fits the theme... I can't draw scimitars to save my life...or wings, man...

Dammit, Dark! You're getting blood all over your wings and your one piece black outfit thing!
